Current treatment for Hepatitis C is mainly a combination of two drugs, pegylated Interferon [pegINF] and ribavirin [RBV].
Recently, two new drugs have been approved to use in addition to this. The research pipeline contains at least 60 compounds so in the next few years we hope that this will lead to an even greater choice, including PEG-free combinations.
