I have just read a report about life expectancy for HIV-positive people, it says if you start meds at age 35 with CD4 count above 200, you could live another 30 years. I was diagnosed 15 months ago. CD4 was 460 then by my blood test 6 months later it had dropped to 149 then rose to 189 2 weeks later and I started meds. Was just wondering how this affects my outlook? I’m male, 41 and always been in good health, does this mean I might expect to live a lot less years?
