Can people with Black skin use New-Fill? (Update from June 2007 post)
I am posting a follow up to my question posted last year about black skin and New-Fill. I am happy to report that it has now been a year since I had facial filler treatments with Sculptra and the results remain amazing. During my year end check up, it was determined that I did not need a touch up and I agreed. You were correct in your response last year about darker and thicker skin being favorable to the treatment. My face has filled out considerably with the induced collagen production and looks great. Also, there are no keloid scars from the fine needle injections of the filler material. There was minimal discomfort at injection sites which was quite tolerable. I just thought others would be interested in my facial wasting treatment experience as a person of colour.
Answer
This is a great news. Thank you for the follow up.
…and, yes, we tend to be correct to the extent we can :)
