    Hi Zet,

Trivenz and Tribuss are generic versions of Atripla. They all have the same HIV meds in them. So switching from Trivenz to Tribuss shouldn’t be a problem.

If I am taking Trivenz written 128 H can I also take Tribuss written D100?

    Hi Anderson,

Yes, Tribuss is used to treat HIV. But it’s possible that your doctor gave you this and PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis). What did the doctor say it is for?

If it’s PEP, you have to take it for a month. Then, a month after finishing it, you need to take another HIV test.

People who are HIV positive need to take Tribuss or similar meds all the time. But people who may have had a risk of HIV can be given PEP for a month to stop HIV infection.

Please see this guide to PEP and PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) for more info.

    Hi Thando,

The meds that you’re talking about are both generic versions of Atripla, what this means is that they contain the same compounds. Though this may be the case its probably best if you didn’t use each others ARVs.
