I’ve been on and off medication for some time. I’m now ready to restart, is this possible?

Even if you’ve had problems with adherence in the past, there’s no reason why you can’t restart medication. Before you do this, you will need to speak to a doctor. Ideally they should run some tests. These tests should include CD4, viral load as well as resistance tests.
Its important to see how your body has been coping without the medication.
Once your results are back, you and your doctor should deiced which is the best medication for you.
