Can I increase my Hb levels?

I had my CD4 count taken two days ago and it was 1100.

But my HB was 10.47 and I was told that it was low. What should I do to boost it and is this common when you are HIV positive?

I have known my status for 5 years and my CD4 is always above 1000. Not on medication yet.
