ART stands for ‘antiretroviral treatment or therapy’

ARVs stands for ‘antiretrovirals’

Both of these terms are used to describe the drugs that are used to treat HIV. There is an explanation of the term ‘antretroviral’ in our treatment training manual. Please look there, and then let me know if you have any questions.
