Will a home HIV test be negative if someone is undetectable?

If an undetectable person takes a home test for HIV, could it show up as negative?

Answer

Yes, if the test is working properly.

HIV tests look for antibodies. Once you have been diagnosed HIV positive, you will alwasy have these antibodies, even if there is a cure someday.

Viral load just measure virus.

    i have tested hiv negative in the 4 months, what really suprices is that my partner also tested negative on the same month. What worries me the most is that the symptoms. Sore throut, feel like vommoting, lymph node, chills, join pains, burning nail, nor skin, running tools, losing weight, blotches and headach. I al most tested 10 times, but getting the same results. Is this hiv? Please help me as soon as you get this.
