Q and A

Question

Why has my baby got thrush?

My baby tested negative twice and he is nine months old. He always has thrush, should I be worried?

Answer

Thanks for getting in touch.

It is great to hear that your baby has so far tested negative. This is a really important step. And a strong indicator that they will stay negative.

Thrush in babies is common. It is something that is easy to treat, so please talk to the┬ádoctor about this. There’s more info here:

    Hi Tebogo,

i-base aren’t medical doctors. If your baby is negative, but gets ill, she will need to see a doctor.
