I’ve been on medication now for 8 months, my viral load is still detectable, what can I do?
Answer
Thanks for getting in touch.
Both US and UK guidelines state that a persons viral load should become undetectable within 1-3 months of them starting treatment. However, as we’re all different in some people this can take longer.
If your viral load is still high, its possible that you may need to think about other treatment options. What is your current viral load?
