Can viral load be undetectable before HIV treatment?

I am HIV positive yet I am confused that my viral load was undetectable PRIOR to me having started treatment. How is this possible? As from what I understand it is the treatment that helps drop the viral load.

CD4 and viral load results vary a lot between different people.
Sometimes viral load cna start very low becasue you havea strong immune response.
Please double-check that the clinic did a second HIV test though to confirm you are HIV positive.
