Question

I am an HIV positive woman on treatment – is my negative partner safe?

Answer

Hi

If your viral load is undetectable on treatment, then your partner is not at risk – even if you don;t use a condom.

    Hi Annie,

Yes you’ll be safe, there’s no risk of transmission through blood when you’re undetectable.

What if you are undetectable and you start your period during sex while unprotected? Will he be safe?
