Can positive people have kids?

I’m positive and my partner is negative, we really want to have kids. How can we have kids without him getting infected?

    It’s great to hear that your viral load is undetectable, this means that your HIV is under control. It also means that you can’t transmit HIV to your wife, please see here: http://i-base.info/u-equals-u/ Therefore, you can try for a baby and your wife doesn’t need to use PrEP.

    Thank you once again for your continual responses to our questions. Please I am a discordant couple. My viral load is less than 40 from my last 2 results. My wife is negative, do she need to be on prep? Before we have sex because we want to try to have baby.
