How long does dizziness with Tribuss last?

Hi I started Tribuss three days ago.
I just want to long know how long does dizzness takes because I’m I work night shift sometimes.

Tribuss is a generic version of Atripla.
Tribuss contains three ARVs- efavirenz, tenofovir and FTC. The dizziness you are experiencing is a common side effect of efavirenz.
Usually this will improve after the first few weeks of treatment. Efavirenz may be a difficult drug if you work shifts that require sometimes working days and sometimes working nights. This is becasue most people routinely take efavirenz before they sleep.
If this dizziness is affecting your ability to work, or making it dangerous to do so, it’s important to talk to your clinic about this. There are alternative drugs that may be more appropriate with your shift patterns.

Hi Isabel, your CD4 count gives an idea of how strong your immune system is. You didn’t include this results in your post though.
The viral load measures the amount of HIV in a small blood sample. The results means different things though depending on whether or not you are already taking HIV meds. If not, then this is low, which is a good thing.
Efavirenz is a drug to treat HIV, but you need to take it with two other HIV meds. These are usually all included in the same pill, but please can you check this.
As well as efavirenz, you would normally also be taking tenofovir and either lamivudone or emtricitabine.

If you’ve been feeling like this for a month, the best thing to do is to see your doctor. Let your doctor that you’re having these issues and ask if it’s possible to change to a different combination of ARVs. Just to note, ARVs don’t make a persons vagina burn.

If you are HIV negative you should not be taking Tribuss. Tribuss is a treatment for HIV and it contains three drugs. A side effect of one of these drugs includes anxiety and depression.
Truvada contains just two drugs which are taken by people who are HIV negative. Truvada is taken to stop you becoming HIV positive. It’s called PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis). Adco-Emtevir is the same as Truvada. But it has another name because it’s made by a different manufacturer.
You can talk to your doctor and ask if you should be taking PrEP too. But if you’re HIV negative you should not be taking Tribuss.
