HIVR4P 2024 conference resources now open access

Free access to the online resources from this year’s HIV R4P conference were made available on 12 December.

This includes over 45 hours of content featuring presentations and discussions on the latest HIV prevention research. Over 270 e-posters are also included..

Although it is good that the resources are now available, this is now more of an archive. It would be interesting to know how often these are accessed. Waiting until two months after the conference loses the global focus on the meeting at the time it was held.

Instead, making some, most or even all material accessible much closer to the meeting is much more likely to be used.

Research news quickly moves to the next conferences and meetings held since, which is a shame given how much energy goes into hybrid conferences that already have everything available digitally.
