How accurate is a negative test for my one year old son?

My son is almost 1 year and all his hiv test came back negative. Is there a chance tht he maybe hiv positive?

It sounds like you are HIV positive and that you used HIV meds during pregnancy to help protect your baby. This was also good for your own health.

The negative test for your son is very good news. This is usually enough for you to know that your son does not have HIV.

Please ask this question to your clinic though to be sure because I don;t know about your circumstances and how the clinic uses test to confirm this.
