Yes nurses who are positive are able to work in the health care system in the UK. There aren’t any restrictions to this. Therefore, if you’re thinking of moving here for work, don’t let your status stop you.

You do not a GP to access these services. If you can provide a history of your treatment this will help speed the process of access. I’m sorry, but I can’t advice you on this. As I’ve said, if you’re in the UK you don’t need to tell an employer about your status. It’s up to you when/if you want to tell them.
