Does sepsis mean my baby might have HIV?

Hi, I am an HIV positive mom. I gave birth at 36 weeks through cesarian.. My viral load was less than 40 copies at birth and the baby’s PCR test came negative. Now my baby is 4 weeks and has high level of sepsis infection. Does this mean he is also HIV positive?

Congratulations on your new baby.
The sepsis does not mean your baby has HIV. This is not related, but does need special care to make sure is is okay,
Everything sounds good about your baby being HIV negative.
