How long do I need to use ARVs for?

I started ART last month. How long do I need to take them for?

ART is life long medication, this is unless a cure is found. This may seem slightly daunting, however once you get used to taking your meds daily, taking your meds should just become as normal as brushing your teeth or having lunch.
The meds need to be taken daily as it’s the meds that control your HIV.
