Have I been infected?

I was circumcised 6 weeks ago but it not fully healed. I have a small open wound. I had protected sex with a woman I learnt was HIV positive after three encounters but I tried to take off the condoms carefully and washed immediately after removing them. Could I have got in contact with vaginal fluids and got infected?.

Thanks for your questions. Although in this particular instance that you describe, it is very unlikely that you could have got infected, it is important that you give time to your wound to heal properly. Additionally, it is important for you to continue to have protected sex even after the wound is healed.
