Is it OK to skip taking ARVs?

I’m thinking about skipping taking my ARVs, is this OK?

ARVs ideally need to be taken every every day and at roughly the same time, however sometimes people do forget to take them and they may miss a dose.

However, frequent skipping isn’t recommended. If you don’t adhere to your meds, the risk of resistance increases. Your HIV also won’t be controlled.

If you could tell us what you mean by skipping, that would be great.
