Hi I am taking HIV meds(acriptega),for the past 6 weeks now.Can I drink joint health,pain relief,it is called Sela Herbal Tea. For body aches and pain.

How have things been since you started taking ARVs? Have you had any side effects?
It is generally good to ask your doctor about herbs and supplements.
However, teas will be fine. There is so little active ingredients that your HIV meds will all be fine.

I am guessing you are talking about some supplements.
However, interactions occur between specific drugs and specific supplements and you are not mentioning which ones you are on.
As a general rule you should space any supplements from your medication at least by 6 hours.
Also, if there is not a specific reason identified by a doctor or having been prescribed supplements for some deficiency, we recommend to avoid them completely as they can cause toxicities and interactions
