Q and A

Question

Can Immunadue reduce the amount of HIV in your body?

Answer

Immunadue will NOT increase your CD4 count. It will NOT reduce your viral load.

Immunadue is just a make of multivitamin. It is not a treatment for HIV. Unless you are deficient in a vitamin there is generally no proven benefit from taking one.

Selenium may be good for your CD4 count slightly but nothing within this compound will reduce the amount of HIV in your body.

Hi Freddy, are there any instructions on the bottle or with a leaflet that came with it? As with most supplements, they are usually taken once a day with no restriction at what time of the day you take it. There is also no requirement to take these with food or water.

Hi Suzan, I don’t think immunudue is approved to treat anything. It certainly is NOT a treatment for HIV.

    Hi Jan,
Are you HIV positive and taking ART? These questions and answers are for people who are taking ARVs. Please let us know what you’re taking Jan.
We are not doctors at i-Base. If you have tachycardia it’s important that you talk to your doctor about it.

    Hi Noma,
Some herbs and supplements can interact with your HIV meds. So it’s a good idea to talk to the doctor about making sure your meds will work well. You can read about having a balanced diet in this guide. And you can look at this i-Base factsheet about vitamins and minerals.
