Is pus, pregnancy and HIV related?

What is the cause of small pus in an HIV positive pregnant women? Was on HIV medication for over a year, even before conceiving.

There a few questions I need to ask to be able to help with information.

• Do you know your viral load and if you are undetectable?
• Where is the pus coming from and how much?
• How long has the pus been going on for?
• Do you know if there are any other ongoing infections?
• Are there any other symptoms? e.g., fever, sweats, aches… etc

Including more details with questions means we can give more useful answers.

Otherwise, we can only recommend going back to your doctor with anything you are worried about.
