Hi it’s Vee again, My husband was taking Reydin tablets noq switching to Luvigen. Do these tablets work the same?

Yes these tablets will work the same. They are the same medication. They have different names as they have been made by different companies. They will still contains the same drugs and work in the same way.

It is true that some people living with HIV face problems with weight gain.
Unfortunately, there are many reasons this might be happening: changes in diet and exercise level, genetics, pre menopause and menopause, medication, etc.
Please consider monitoring closely (check your weight once or twice a week). Also, please talk to your doctor who can also take steps to monitor this.

Hi Rachel, changes in wieght are difficult as well as being linked to many different causes, everyone has different genetics and family genes which also affect weight.
Generally Trenvir is linked to less weight but everyone can be different.
Please talk to your doctor though so you can be monitored more carefully.
I am sorry it is more complicated than just the choice of HIV meds.

Hi I have been using Trenvir and I’ve gained lot of weight now he changed me to Reydin, does it also make one to gain weight i am really struggling with the weight. I exercise eat healthy but still it’s depressing please help.
