Should I have another HIV test?

My ongoing concern is that I had a long term relationship with my boyfriend where we had several years of unprotected sex. I am a woman. I started to become very concerned about HIV and then we broke up. Scared, I waited 4 years to have an HIV antibody test and it was negative. I haven’t been with anyone after my boyfriend. My test was negative. Can I accept this one test or should I have a second test?

Thank you for your question. You are HIV negative and do not need another test. Please stop worrying and start to get on with your life again.
