Taking more than one ARV a day.

I live in a room that has blackout windows. I take my ARVs at 12pm every day however sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night dazed and confused thinking it’s past 12pm and I take a pill out of reflex but it’s only gone past 12am. This happened to me three times in the past two weeks. So I’m taking more ARVs than I should. Is this a big problem and will it affect the efficiency of my medicine?

This will not change how effective your treatment is. It can cause increased risk of side effects.

Have you thought of other ways to take your treatment to avoid this e.g,. have a different alarm set specific for ARVs instead of what you use to wake up?
