Hi, I need your help. I was born HIV positive I stopped the ART when I lost mom.
It’s been 3 years now and I want to restart my treatment. Will the treatment still work or I’ll be resistant to the treatment.??

I am sorry to hear about your mom.
What ART were you on before you stopped? In most cases restarting your ART will still work. Resistance is rare.
Have you had recent viral load and CD4 tests? It would be good to have a viral load test before and after treatment. This would help show you if the treatment is working again.
