My viral load is not below 50…

I have been on Biktarvy for 6 months and my viral load has been 130 for the past 3 months. Why is it not falling below 50 and do I need to switch medications?

No. You do not need to switch medications. You have an excellent viral load and Biktarvy is working.
As your viral load is below 200 you cannot pass on HIV to someone else via sex.
Not everybody will have a viral load that falls below 50. This is not a bad thing. This is just normal for some people. Your viral load is still being suppressed and your medication is working.
There is no need for your viral load to be suppressed further than it already is.
