By the LSD-side effects do you mean the neuropsychiatric changes e.g., mood disturbances (anxiety and depression) and vivid/abnormal nightmares?

In this case, switching away from efavirenz based treatment can leads to these changes being reversible. Even after years of being on efavirenz based therapy, switching drugs has been shown to largely reverse these negative side effects.
