Question

Can I get a work visa in Japan?

Can I get the work visa with IT position to Japan from Myanmar if I have Hiv?

Answer

Hi, how are you doing?

Japan has no restrictions on visa applications for people living with HIV.

As i-base is a UK based treatment charity we do not have further information.

Further information can be found here.

Have you tried contacting your local Japanese embassy to enquire about any specific requirements?

Josh.

Hello Pam and thanks for getting in touch.

In HIV I-base we specialise in information about ARV medication.

This site has information about travelling and relocating to other countries:

Am happy to hear that people living with HIV are free to work in Japan. I would also like to relocate there, if there is some support you can offer
