I have taken Paxlovid wrong…

I misunderstood Paxlovid dosage and took 3 pink pills in the morning and 3 white in the evening for the first 3 of the 5 days. What should I do?

The correct dose of Paxlovid is 1 white and 2 pink every 12 hours. You can continue like this from now on though you will be short of white.
Are you able to return to your pharmacy and explain what has happened?
The medication works by the white pill helping how effective the pink pill is. As you have not been taking them together the course of treatment will not work as well.
It is advised to speak with your doctor and determine if you need a new course of treatment.
