Can I work in Malta?

I got a job offer in Malta and I then informed them that I have HIV and they informed me that there are medical tests done upon entry so the offer was rescinded due to them saying I might not pass it,all the research I’ve done says the opposite ,am I wrong or?

I am sorry to hear this job offer was rescinded.

As i-base is a treatment charity and not a travel charity we only have limited information.

Using this website it is stated that there are no specific entry requirements for people living with HIV. An HIV test and/or medical is NOT required.
