Will HIV stop me from being a student in New Zealand?

Hi there

Will being HIV positive impact me getting a student visa for NZ?

I am applying for NZ student visa for PhD Program. Since 2021/2022 the HIV infection has been removed from Immigration New Zealand’s list of medical conditions deemed likely to impose significant costs or demands on New Zealand’s health services.

Do I apply visa normally just like everyone else or I must hire an immigration lawyer for my visa application.

Please anyone who can reply me or got a student visa with HIV.
