Do you agree with this statement about the p24 HIV test?

I read the following on the internet:
Antigen Test
•The HIV antigen test checks for the P24 protein of HIV that causes the body to produce antibodies. These levels jump quickly after someone is first infected and then drop below detectable levels. The antigen test can be done 1 to 3 weeks after infection.
Do you agree with this?

Hi Derek,
It depends on the individual and their immune system. For a more graphic idea of when tests can pick up infections please follow this link.
Hi charlotte,
Thanks for the answer although i read on here that 3-4 weeks is better but a certain thing is visable from 14 days, However a private clinic have said a test done at 16 days is not at all reliable as they have seen it change after?
