I have had three negative HIV tests but I am still worried are the results accurate?

Does the window period start a day after exposure? I got a negative test at 2, 10 and 14 weeks after exposure. 8 months on I still keep getting thoughts about it not being right! I recently I had a chest infection and also had one during the window period. I tested at the local GUM clinic and doctors told me the results are accurate and can I stop worrying I’m only 19 and it keeps sticking in my
head.

The doctors are correct. If you have had 3 negative HIV tests then you do not have HIV. Your chest infection does not indicate HIV infection. You need to stop worrying.
