I have negative tests in July but am I ok to get married?

I had unprotected sex once back in April. Since then I had a HIV and STD test in late July. It came back negative and I was fine. Now I am about to get married and am just worrying if I am really ok. Was the window period long enough?

If you tested negative for STIs and HIV then you do not have either. The window period varies depending on the type of test you had. For more information on the different tests and their window period please follow this link.

All tests are accurate 3 months after an exposure so your test results are conclusive.
