Can I take beta-blockers with my HIV drug combination?

Hi,

I’m wondering if there is any indication of interaction between HIV meds and beta blockers? I’ve recently started a new regime – Truvada and nevirapine. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

In general there does not appear to be any interaction between your HIV drug combination and beta blockers. The only beta-blocker that could potentially interact with nevirapine is Carvedilol. All others appear to be fine.
