When should I start treatment?

My CD4 count is 351 and my viral load is 16,000. Should I start treatment? I am currenty healthy and asymptomatic.

When to start treatment is your decision and you should make sure you are fully prepared before you start as once you have started treatment you will have to take it for the rest of your life.
However, if your CD4 count is around 350 then you should think about starting treatment soon even if you are feeling healthy. This is because the lower your CD4 count gets before you start treatment, the less likely it is to reach ‘normal’ levels once treatment has started.
