What causes angina tonsillaris?

My questions are, is it because of my CD4 count is low to 97, is that the reason I got sick like high fever for a week now?
Secondly, what is the cause of (tonsillary angina)? I just came out from this pain and now I got dry cough which cause me high fever every night.

There are 3 main types of tonsillitis. The one that you had is called acute. Acute tonsillitis can either be bacterial or viral in origin.
