Q and A

Question

Can I accept the results?

Hello. I recently took an Oraquick Advance Rapid Test for HIV about 2 days short of 6 months after a possible exposure with a SW. The results were non-reactive / negative. Do you think I can move on and accept these results as conclusive? Will being 2 days short of the 6 month mark affect my test? Please help! Thanks!

Answer

Yes, you can and you SHOULD move on and accept the results.

There is more info on testing here.

Hope this helps. All the best!
