Q and A

Question

What are the chances of receiving a positive result?

After 50 days after a risky exposure I took an antibody test for HIV which came back negative after half an hour. I then took another test after 65 days which was negative although I did have glandular fever diagnosis. I have now taken a third test after 80 days which I am waiting to receive results. What are the chances of me being infected?

Answer

Minimal, close to zero. More information on testing and transmission is published here.
