Bad headaches after starting Tribuss

Hi I’m 16 weeks pregnant & I started the tribuss yesterday. Now the left side of my head fells like I’m burning please help. I went see my doc about it today and he gave me some pain killers, betamox, clopamon but its not helping me I’m still in pain.

Answer

Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about the headaches you are experiencing. Headache – usually mild – can be a common side effect of Tribes, especially when you first start. These side effects may be reduced if you take Tribuss at bedtime on an empty stomach; and they tend to go away after taking Tribuss for a few weeks. It’s very normal to have difficult side effects in the first few weeks.

If the painkillers your doctor have given you are not helping, and if these headaches continue to bother you do go back to the doctor. S/he may be able to give you a different painkiller, or if these are very severe they may even suggest changing treatment. But do not stop taking Tribuss unless your doctor tells you to.

I hope you feel better soon, and that the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

    Hi Lindiwe

Efavirenz is one of the meds in Odimune and could be causing this. It should get easier but please see the answer to a new question posted here:
