Answer
Hi,
This is very unlikely to have any impact on your health either way.
As you know, it is not a good idea to be late. But if this only happens occasionally, you will be fine. Everyone is likely to miss or be late once in a while.
How late you can be is related to the meds in your combination. Once your viral load has been undetectable for a while, then most combinations have an hour or two flexibility either side or your target time.
For some meds that are processed by your body more slowly, you may have even more time, but it is still always safer to find the time that works best for you and tom aim for this every day.

Hello MD and thanks for getting in touch.
It’s best for you and your health if you manage to take your medication daily, you are right about that.
What is the reason that you don’t? And have you discussed this with your doctor?
There are some tips I can give you on managing side effects and others that you might useful in remembering to take your medication.

The bottom line remains that if you don’t take your medication often enough you run the risk of developing resistance (which means the specific medication might not work for you anymore) and that U=U might not apply to you.
You have to be undetectable in order to prevent passing on HIV to your sexual partners.
Also U=U helps enjoy your sexual life more.
