Question

Personal results from a recent diagnosis…

Thank you for this wonderful web site.

I have been HIV positive for 19 months now and had about four CD4 count tests as follows: 1071, 822, 1221 and recently 1320 cells/mm3. The results have been amazing.

I would like to encourage all those who have just found out that they are HIV postive.

It is not the end of the world but the key is acceptance of your situation and making the best out of it. Information and counselling are good. Just when I thought all hope is gone I have done so much with my life which I use to take for granted.

Once more thank you i-Base for the information and am one of those people who have greatly benefited.

Thumbs up!

Answer

Great to hear things are going well for you, and for your words of support to other people who are newly diagnosed.

Thanks too for the nice comments about the website.

This is just wonderful to know as I was recently diagnosed when pregnant. This gives me so much hope…strength…faith and courage to move on. The sun will surely rise again in what has been such a bleak dark winter.
