What can we do for tonsillitis in an HIV-positive woman who is on ARVs (Douvir and nevrapine)?

Tonsillitis is defined as inflammation of the tonsils. (-itis just means inflammation).

In HIV-positive people, the treatment should be the same as for someone who is HIV-negative.

Your doctor needs to try to find the cause and then use treatment.

HIV and antiretrovirals should not make any difference.
