Question on normal CD4 counts

The normal range of from about 400 to 1600 – but some people have a normal count for them that is higher or lower than this range. In general, getting a CD4 count above 500 is often referred to as “normal”.

It is better to focus on your own count rather than worry bout the range.

If you are not yet on treatment it is a good time to start. If you are on treatment, then you are already doing the best thing to help it get higher.
