Thanks for getting in touch.
The simple answer is yes. There’s no reason why positive people cannot have children. Please see Q6 here: https://i-base.info/qa/what-are-the-most-asked-questions

Hi Eze,
Its not possible to say what a persons viral load is by their CD4 count. To know what your viral load is you’ll need to have this tested. If you’re just been diagnosed unless you’re an elite controller then your viral load will be detectable.
For your viral load to become undetectable you need to be on medication. Please see here for info about starting meds: http://i-base.info/guides/starting
When diagnosed my cd4 is 625. Does that mean that my viral load is undetectable pls?
Hi Eze,
Unless your viral load is undetectable, then trying for a child now isn’t advised. If you try when your viral load is detectable you risk infecting your wife. Once undetectable, then its perfectly safe to have sex without a condom. Please see here: http://i-base.info/u-equals-u/
I was recently diagnosed of HIV and my parents is negative. Our marriage is in few weeks now. Her fear is how would she get make love during her honey moon with condom and how would she get pregnant without getting the virus?
