The answer will depend on where in the world you live – as costs vary a lot.

In the UK, the cost to an NHS clinic is probably around £60.

At a private clinic in the UK this might cost more than £100.

Hi Godiya,

If you’re on medication and your viral load is undetectable this will explain the negative result. If your viral load is detectable, then your partner has basically up to now been lucky. Please see Q5 here: http://i-base.info/qa/what-are-the-most-asked-questions
