Can I smoke cannabis while on ART?

Hello, can I still smoke Cannabis when I’m on ART? I have just quit cigarettes but I find it hard to quit Cannabis although I only smoke once a week.

Yes. You can smoke cannabis while on ART. There is no interaction between the two.
However, depending on how much you smoke, you need to make sure smoking does not cause you to forget when to take your ARVs.
Aside from this there is no risk of smoking cannabis and taking ART.

There is no known interaction between cannabis and most ARVs.

Colo is synthetic, and it is not known which substance is being used. That means that the substance can be harmful, and can have interactions. Also, every batch is different and a new substance might be used. So, I can’t tell you if it’s ok to combine with your ARVs.
